The Project

Long-standing client Peppy, reached out to Brave Motion to help create the motion components for their recent rebrand and apply this to a range of existing video assets. Peppy is a tech-for-good start-up, responsible for an employee benefit app that connects staff members with resources and human experts, around health issues such as menopause, men’s and women’s health, fertility and early parenthood.

A collaborative project working closely with Peppy's in-house designers and brand guardians. Brave Motion was tasked with bringing pre-designed graphics and abstract visuals to life with movement and context.

The Brief

There was a clear vision from the start. We should communicate the concepts around the Peppy app, with abstract shapes and simplified UI elements, all brought together with a succinct voiceover that makes the information easy to digest.

Building upon the newly established brand style, which had already incorporated textured elements into the design, it was only natural to explore a stop-motion style of animation. This meant infusing the scenes with rough textures and subtle imperfections, while ensuring the app elements remained intact and functional.
