Sedna - Personal data removal:

The Project

As part of a product release suite of comms, the task was to create a video that delves Sedna's Personal Data Removal feature, which safeguards regulatory compliance by easily identifying, tagging, and removing Personal Identifiable Information (PII).

The video uses a mixed-media route, shifting more towards the rebranded style, which was in development at the time. This served as an exploratory project, pushing the boundaries of Sedna’s traditional design formats and embracing a fresh, dynamic approach to effectively communicate complex concepts.

The Brief

In the case of this particular video, there was a deliberate decision to use black and white styling at the beginning, to establish a somber and problem-oriented tone. This aesthetic helps captivate the viewers' attention and create a sense of urgency surrounding the issue being addressed.

As the story progresses, the shift to colour plays a pivotal role in illustrating the solution of Sedna’s Personal Data Removal feature. All while incorporating a real-world use case with an added human element.
